  • Great place to stay!
    We were pleasantly surprised at the location of the hotel. It was close to town and bus stops for the buses to the Remarkables and Coronet Peak, though we tended to walk to to the Station and get dropped off on the way back. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant had excellent food at good prices. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm and ours had a wonderful view of the lake. We had a wonderful week holiday and would stay there again.

  • Surprisingly good hotel, excellent location!
    My boyfriend and I just returned from a 7 day stay at Heartland Hotel. We booked there as part of a holiday package, and were unsure what to expect from the hotel, however were pleasantly surprised. Our room, though on the bottom floor, still provided a great view of the mountains and part of the lake and town. With a double and a single bed as well, we found the room was more than big enough for the two of us, and enjoyed our little balcony as well. The lobby area was lovely- with a fountain and fireplace (which for us was a bonus whilst waiting for an airport shuttle bus). The staff were friendly, attentive and extremely helpful throughout our stay, and the restaurant was great for breakfast, although we found the restaurants in town too tempting to have dinner at the hotel!

Hillside Brasserie & Lobby Bar

The shared lobby area of Scenic Suites Queenstown and Heartland Hotel Queenstown is also home to the Hillside Brasserie and Lobby Bar.  These are two perfect places to unwind after a long-day of site-seeing, adventure or being on the slopes.

Opening Hours

The Hillside Brasserie is open for buffet breakfast from 6am until 9.30am Monday to Friday and 6am until 10am during the weekend. It is open for a la carte dinner from 6pm until 9pm every day.

The Lobby Bar is open from 5pm until late and is a perfect spot for unwinding at the end of the day.
