Blazing Copper Restaurant & Bar

The Blazing Copper Cafe & Bar is perfect for a casual meal, a catch up with friends or to sit outside in the summer months and take in the park-like surroundings whilst enjoying some Southland cuisine.

Opening hours

The Blazing Copper Café and Bar is open daily for buffet and a la carte breakfast 7am -9am, cafe style lunch 12 – 2pm and a la carte dining from 6pm till 9pm.  We also offer a kids menu, so this is also a perfect place to enjoy a family night out together.

If it’s something lighter or just a drink you’re after, the Lodge Public Bar is also within the hotel grounds open from 3pm until late (Monday – Saturday).

Southland and its surrounding areas are rich in produce, and the chef at the Blazing Copper Cafe & Bar aims to utilise these products and support local suppliers and producers as much as possible.  With these items featuring extensively in its dishes, look out for specialties such as free range Fiordland venison, Stewart Island salmon and locally raised pork.
