The West Coast’s Franz Josef Glacier is an impressive attraction and is easily accessible, having moved to just 250m above sea level, in line with the rainforests. Guided treks, ice climbing, helicopter tours and scenic flights take conference delegates to the glacier heights; alternatively, they can walk to the glacier’s base.
