Centrally located in the heart of Blenheim, the Marlborough Convention Centre is a perectly formed venue combining superb design with state of the art technologies. Accommodation is varied and is easily accessed within a short walk of the Convention Centre, with 550 beds ranging from executive four-star luxury lodges to budget-style.
A Conference Planner’s Paradise
From large corporate events to intimate gatherings, there are spaces and resources to suit your needs, along with expert advice to ensure that your event is a resounding success. A key feature of the Centre is its flexibility – moveable walls allow the interior space to open into a Grand Hall, able to host up to 750 people. Alternatively, this area can be divided into two or three rooms to suit such gatherings as business meetings or weddings. The Centre also features boardrooms and an adjacent, interconnected exhibition hall as well as a multi-functional foyer.
The Centre’s team of experienced chefs deliver wonderful dining experiences for all kinds of events, from cocktail functions to banquet style gala dinners for up to 400 people. Quality local products form the core of each menu, which we customise for every client. Food is prepared on location in our extensive kitchen facilities.
Access to this stunning destination is easy, with direct flights from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The Interislander ferries provide a delightful commute from Wellington to Picton and from Christchurch the drive is a picturesque 3.5 - 4 hours.
