Lush native forest grows right down to the picturesque shoreline of deep turquoise coves in the Marlborough Sounds. Genuine “wooow!” moments are a common soundtrack when people see Marlborough’s Queen Charlotte and Pelorus Sounds for the first time. Queen Charlotte can be seen from the comfort of the Inter-island Ferry when travelling to Picton from Wellington, and Pelorus Sound during a scenic drive from Picton to Havelock.
