Located on State Highway 6 at the north end of the township, our boutique Fox Glacier hotel is easy to find. If you’re driving from North to South (from Christchurch, Greymouth, and Hokitika) you will see the hotel on the left hand side as you enter the township. If you’re coming from the South (Haast, Wanaka, or Queenstown), head through town and you will see the hotel and entrance on the right hand side.

Te Weheka takes its name from Weheka, the original name of the Fox Glacier township. Lake Matheson is approximately 5 km away, Franz Josef is around 25 km to the north and Greymouth is approximately 195 km north.
