Baggage Storage
Guests are welcome to leave baggage at reception prior to check-in or while you wait for transfers after check-out. Please discuss your requirements with our friendly reception staff.

Check-out time is 10.00am. Should you wish to keep your room after this time please contact reception for availability. Late check-out may incur an additional charge.
Dry Cleaning
A daily dry cleaning service is available daily except for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Bags can be found in every room’s desk drawer. Please complete the details and deliver to reception before 8.30am or call reception for collection from your room. Items sent after 8.30am will be returned the following day. Same day service available weekdays.
Electricity
Electrical plug adaptors are available for loan from reception. A refundable deposit of $25.00 is required, added to your room account, or by cash payment. The adaptor must be returned to reception on check-out to receive the refund.
Electricity is supplied at 240V AC, 50Hz.

Available for guest use on the 7th Floor of the Exchange Wing. Open daily from 6.30am – 10.30pm

Our housekeeping department is more than happy to provide you with additional supplies to make your stay comfortable. Please contact reception for assistance.
Laundry
Guest laundry facilities are available on the 2nd and 5th floors of the Main Wing. Washing and drying are $5 each. Organic laundry powder is complimentary.
Lost and Found
Please contact reception for assistance. Found items are stored by the hotel for three months. After this time goods are donated to local community groups.
Newspapers
A complimentary copy of the Otago Daily Times can be delivered to your room upon request Monday – Saturday. Please advise reception before 10.00pm if you would like one.
Parking
There is a daily charge for car parking. Please leave your car’s registration number at reception. For further information please contact reception.
Payment Options
Scenic Hotel Southern Cross accepts all major credit cards or cash payment in NZ$. All room charges must be cleared on check-out.
All accounts settled by credit card will incur a 1.5% credit card surcharge.
Pets
Pets are not permitted in the hotel, guest rooms, car park or left in cars overnight. Exceptions are made for registered Guide Dogs.

Our friendly, helpful staff wish to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Safe Deposit Facilities
For your convenience, in-room safes are provided in all hotel rooms. We recommend using this to store cash and valuables during your stay with us. There is no charge for this service.
