Peaks Restaurant & Bar (formerly known as Hillside Brasserie) celebrates the very best of New Zealand’s fresh produce with flavoursome dishes from around the globe that are sure to tantalise any tastebuds.

The lobby area of the Heartland Hotel is also home to Peaks Restaurant & Bar. These are perfect places to unwind after a long-day of sight-seeing, adventure or being on the slopes.

Opening hours

Peaks Restaurant is open for breakfast from 6:00am until 10am (weekends and public holidays the restaurant is open until 10.30am). It is open for a la carte dinner from 5pm until 9pm every day.

The Peaks Bar All Day Menu is available from 9am to 5pm (10am to 5pm on weekends) and is a perfect spot for unwinding at the end of the day.

This season’s Home Grown Dishes have been created by our talented chef Michael Farrell. Michael has honed his skills with Scenic Hotel Group for 15 years and loves show-casing the bounty of Hawkes Bay produce at Scenic Hotel Te Pania.

Pumpkin Risotto – $32.00
Main | Vegan (garlic & onion free, dairy free)
Rich pumpkin risotto with Angel Food dairy free feta and baby spinach. Topped with maple smoked almonds, vegetable crisps, and local olive oil.

Arataki Honey Ice cream Meringue Cake – $16.00
Dessert
Layers of delicious meringue and Arataki Honey ice cream. Served with pumpkin compote and a lemon, ginger and honey gel.

Peaks Restaurant & Bar is located next to the lobby area of Heartland Hotels & Scenic Suites Queenstown (enter the Heartland Hotel Queenstown complex from either Melbourne Street or Stanley Street following the signs for Reception). Parking is available on the nearby side streets of Beetham Street, Melbourne Street and Sydney Street. Locals and visitors to Queenstown are welcome to dine at the restaurant – avoid disappointment by making a booking in advance.

Opening hours: Open 7 days a week for Breakfast (6:00am – 10am weekdays, 6:00am – 10:30am weekends and public holiday) and Monday to Saturday for Dinner (5pm – 9pm)
