The White Pub Café located at Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier is a local institution offering honest, tasty and warming West Coast meals filled with local delicacies and Kiwi favourites to refuel after a long day. Tour groups will enjoy their own private dining room with a table d’hote menu and are welcome to come over to the White Pub for a cold beer and a yarn with the locals.

Main: Whisky-Glazed Pork Ribs with Makikihi Fries (GFO, DFO) $40
Tender pork ribs slow cooked and glazed with Laughing Owl whisky, local honey and warming spices. Finished with garlic aioli and fresh coriander, served alongside crisp South Canterbury Makikihi Fries and a crunchy red cabbage slaw.
Dessert: Traditional Scottish Cranachan with Laughing Owl whisky $18
A winter classic, toasted oats caramelised in butter and brown, folded through raspberries and whisky infused mascarpone cream. Finished with crunchy golden oats and fresh berries for a rich perfectly balance finish.
