With more than 25 years of experience in hospitality, tourism and business development, Debbie brings a rare combination of operational insight and commercial expertise. Her appointment recognises both her long‑standing contribution to Scenic Hotel Group and her strong reputation for building trusted, long‑term partnerships.
A Trusted Hospitality Leader
Debbie steps into the enterprise role following senior operational and commercial positions across the Scenic Hotel Group portfolio, most recently as Resident Manager at Scenic Hotel Cotswold in Christchurch, alongside her role as Business Development Manager for Scenic Matavai Resort, Niue.
Her broader career spans hotel and tourism operations, conference and incentive sales, event management and destination marketing, both within New Zealand and across regional markets. This experience has given Debbie a deep understanding of how strong partnerships translate into meaningful outcomes for clients and destinations alike.

In her new role, Debbie will focus exclusively on enterprise‑level business development, working closely with corporate, association, incentive and major event partners.
