Best Walks and Hikes Around Queenstown
1. Queenstown Hill Time Walk
3 Hours – 4.2km
This uphill walk through pine forest is well worth it once you view the spoils at the top, with panoramic views of The Remarkables, Cecil Peak, Frankton Arm and the Queenstown Bay. Along your way to the top, be sure to check out the Basket of Dreams sculpture.
2. Jack’s Point Track
4 Hours – 5.6km
This spectacular and popular walking track rewards you with unprecedented lake and mountain views once you reach the top. This track starts in two places, at Jardine Park and at the Jack’s Point Clubhouse.
3. Ben Lomond Track
6/8 Hours – 40km
Although this is a demanding walk, the Ben Lomond track makes it all worth while with the panoramic views serving as your well earned reward at the top. This track is designed as a full day hike, plan your trip well and make sure you have enough daylight hours to finish the walk.
