Telephone Charges

All local calls from your room are charged at local rates plus hotel connection charges. The only numbers that are free to call begin with 0800, 0508, 083210, 0125, 0124 and 083033. Please check with reception before proceeding if you are unsure.

All international phone calls will be charged at international rates plus a hotel connection fee.

 

General Hotel Information

Baggage Storage

Guests are welcome to leave baggage at reception prior to check-in or while you wait for transfers after check-out. Please discuss your requirements with our friendly reception staff.

Check-out

Check-out time is 10.00am. Should you wish to keep your room after this time please contact reception for availability. Late check-out may incur an additional charge.

Child Minding and Child Accessories

A child minder can be arranged for you with 48 hours prior notice; subject to availability. High chairs and portable cots are available for guest use. Please contact reception to discuss your requirements.

Dry Cleaning

A dry cleaning service is available daily except for Sundays and public holidays. Bags are available in your room wardrobe. Please complete the details and deliver to reception before 8.30am or call reception for collection from your room. A same day service is available on weekdays, and Friday evening for Saturday morning service. Items sent after 8.30am will be returned the following day.

Electricity

Electrical plug adaptors are available for loan from reception. A refundable deposit of $25.00 is required, added to your room account, or by cash payment. The adaptor must be returned to reception on check-out to receive the refund.

Electricity is supplied at 240V AC, 50Hz.

Gym & Sauna

Located at the end of the Motel Wing, adjacent room 873. Key is available from reception on request. Operation hours: 7.00am – 9.00pm

Housekeeping

Our housekeeping department is more than happy to provide you with additional supplies to make your stay comfortable. Please contact reception for assistance.

Laundry

There are washing machines and a clothes dryer in the guest laundry located between Rooms 875 and 876 in the Motel Wing. Both machines are token operated and these can be purchased from reception at $4.00 each. Laundry powder is provided. A standard washing/drying cycle takes approximately 40 – 45 minutes.

Lost and Found

Please contact reception for assistance. Found items are stored by the hotel for three months. After this time goods are donated to local community groups.

Parking

Guests staying with us are welcome to park their cars on the premises. Kindly contact reception if you are having any difficulty parking.

Payment Options

Heartland Hotel Cotswold accepts all major credit cards or cash payment in NZ$. All room charges must be cleared on check-out.

A 1.5% surcharge on all credit card payments applies.

Pets

Pets are not permitted in the hotel, guest rooms, car park or left in cars overnight. Exceptions are made for registered Guide Dogs.

Post Office

Postage stamps and postcards can be purchased from reception. Letters to be mailed may be left at reception. A courier service is available Monday – Friday.

Reception

Our friendly, helpful staff wish to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Valet parking, luggage porter, transport arrangements, forward bookings and suggestions for sightseeing and activities are just the beginning of the services we can provide. Please contact reception with any questions or to discuss your requirements.

Restaurant & Bar

Tudors on Papanui Restaurant and Bar is located on the first floor under the main archway. All menus offer local and New Zealand produce complemented with a wide selection of local and New Zealand wines.

Dinner 5.30pm – 9.30pm

Bar Menu 5.30pm – 9.30pm

Reservations are essential. Please contact reception or dial 731 or 732 to be connected during operating hours.

Room Service

Please refer to the room service section on the food and beverage menu in your room. A $5.00 room service delivery surcharge applies.

Safe Deposit Facilities

For your convenience complimentary safety deposit facilities are available at reception. We recommend using this service for cash and valuables during your stay with us. The hotel does not take responsibility for valuables left in your room. There is no charge for the safe deposit service.

Swimming Pool

The outdoor swimming pool is open from 8.00am – 9.00pm daily. All children need to be supervised by an adult at all times.

Television

Your in-room television has a variety of channels for your viewing pleasure. Please turn on the set for options or contact reception if you need any assistance.
