Greymouth to Punakaiki Shuttle Bus

Getting to Punakaiki can be tricky if you’re not travelling by car, that’s why Scenic Hotel Punakaiki has partnered with the great people at Explore West Coast who can provide visitors with a convenient shuttle service between Greymouth and Scenic Hotel Punakaiki. Taking the spectacular great coast road you can relax and enjoy the journey.

The shuttle is available 7-days a week with transfers departing Greymouth at 2 pm and from Punakaiki at 9 am – all transfers must be pre-booked. If you’re taking Great Journey’s TranzAlpine train from Christchurch, the train will arrive in Greymouth at approximately 1.10 pm with time to make the Punakaiki Shuttle.

Price: $90 per adult, $66 per child (each way)

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation and changes:

Change of date or holding of booking up to 24 hours before travel.
Any booking cancelled within 72 hours to 24 hours before travel will result in a refund minus 10% booking fee.
Within 24 hours before travel no refund will be given.
Full refund for any booking cancelled outside of the 72 hour cut off period.

Any bookings that result in a no show will be charged the full amount for each passenger booked.

Child prices apply to children aged 12 and under.
