Flights

Air New Zealand services Niue from Auckland. Weekly flights from Auckland increase in frequency over the peak season, being the southern hemisphere winter months. The flight time is about 3.5 hours, with travellers crossing the international date line enroute. Due to the 24 hour time difference on Niue the flight will arrive on the previous day to Auckland. Air New Zealand regularly issue great deals on flights, especially on either side of the High Season (May to October) so keep an eye out and be ready to book!

Airport Transfers

When you book your accommodation at Scenic Matavai Resort Niue (Apartments & Villa included) you are automatically offered complimentary airport transfers. The hotel shuttle will be waiting for you at the airport on arrival – look out for the friendly Scenic Matavai Resort team member. If you do not require pick up by the shuttle please let the hotel know when you book.

On Island Transport

To get yourself around the island there are rental cars available. However if you feel like a bit of exercise you can also hire mountain bikes.
